In October 2012, the Government is introducing a new pension initiative that will affect all employers and their employees. This means that every employer will have to enrol all employees into a pension scheme and make contributions.
The initiative is being introduced in stages, with the largest employers from October 2012 and the smallest by February 2016. The rules are onerous with penalties for those who do not apply or miss deadlines, so it is vital that you understand the implications so that you can make the necessary plans.
